courtesy of a dear friend i cherish. don't understand why he brought up this to me thru a msg. here it is,

"Friendship can't be earned with time or money, but with the heart."

I replied, "Why did you say that bout friendship?"

The reply came,

"Money may buy favours;

time can provide company.

But nothing touches sincerity in friendship

like the heart can.

If a heart is tune right to that friend,

then he/she doesn't need much prompting

to be in the know of a need.

To simply be there when needed,

It's simple really, nothing amazing.

But in this increasingly self-centred world we live in,

true friendship is scarce

and since it has lost its meaning."
